Sara Dees is a Physical Therapist at Southern Physical Therapy Clinic. She was born in Gulfport, MS but was raised in Chatom, AL until college. Sara attended Washington County High School where she graduated in 2016 in the top 10 of her graduating class. She then went on to attend The University of Southern Mississippi where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiotherapy in 2020. Finally, she attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy and graduated in 2024.

Sara's clinical interests include orthopedics and pediatrics. She currently has her certification in LSVT Big which aims to help patients with Parkinson's Disease regain their functional mobility.

She chose the field of physical therapy because of her innate desire to help those return to the activities they love, by reaching all of their goals. Bringing a positive and encouraging light to people during their rehabilitation process.

Sara chose Southern Physical Therapy Clinic because of the welcoming and family environment and therapists that make it their mission to treat every patient with compassion. In her down time, you can find Sara on the boat, at the beach, or enjoying time with friends and family.
