"In pain when I came in and today I have reached some goals that I didn’t think I would be able to do again. "So far Joe as been a real pain😂😂 But it’s working 🥳🥳 Physical therapy is hard work, but we have made a plan , that fits my needs. I’m sure I’ll be ready for our vacation plans at the end of the month. It’s a relaxed comfortable environment to get the job done. Slidell is a new location it was highly recommended to me and I’m very excited to recommend to others."

"Our child has been having so much fun working with all her new friends at Southern Physical Therapy. She does speech, Physical, and Occupational Therapy. Everyone is so professional and encouraging, she has made a lot of progress. (Especially in P.T. with Christian, her absolute favorite). He always goes above and beyond finding ways to make hard work fun for her. We appreciate that they offer all the services she needs at one place, in a pleasant upbeat atmosphere that is close to home."

"I was a little leary about starting PT, but I'm glad I've started. The PT is great, he let's me go at my pace. He does put me thru many exercises to get my muscles stronger, mainly from my lack of Use. I don't think my main issue, my left knee, actually, the left side of my knee has not improved. I do believe it's helped me to lose some weight. I would recommend Southern PT to anyone who needs therapy."

"BEST THERAPY PLACE EVER!!! To begin, Ms Angel L. worked tirelessly with my dad's Louisiana insurance and provider to help get him approved for Mississippi services. She is super friendly and kept me updated along this process. Eventhough all the therapists are great, Joe was my dad's primary therapist. JOE IS PHENOMINAL!! Joe got my dad in top shape after his knee replacement, with overall increase in body strength and endurance. My dad is 87 y/o, and he no longer needs a walker. God Bless these people!!"

"Southern Physical Therapy Clinic-Picayune is a very warm, caring, clean, professional facility. The staff is amazing from the greeting reception when entering the building from front desk staff and patients in the lobby to therapist who work out all your kinks and knots. It is a no wait kind of clinic, when you arrive the wait is very short, if any. You are treated with so much care here. Question are asked, information is given to help you become better. "First introduced to Southwest Physical Therapy group by attending the workshop for Rotator Cuff therapy. Learned there were exercises I could do to help prevent surgery. I had already had the surgery on my right shoulder so knew what I was in for and wanted to prevent having another one at all cost. Started with an evaluation by Joe Crochet and was given a treatment plan. The team of Joe and Christian Litz worked with me for five weeks until I felt I could do routine tasks again without any pain. Wonderful staff, every one of them. From office staff (Angel) to Physical Therapist to Kelsea (PT asst) always greeted with a "Hi" every day. I'm going to miss the friendly banter between the staff as I was working out, it made the time go by faster. Highly recommend Southwest Physical Therapy Group!"

"I was referred by my doctor for recovery of bell’s palsy. The first time I came I could tell it wasn’t a common thing to be treated at physical therapy. Katherine did my evaluation and worked with me. Within two months I was pretty much 100 % recovered. I was worried that it would never go back to normal or that it would take months or even years. However, they were so invested in my treatment and helped me heal to quick."

"My shoulder pain has been at least 80% less since Dr. Stonington recommended me for shoulder therapy with Southern Physical Therapy. Dr Brian has done a super job in strengthening the muscles and reshaping the shoulder. Dr. Stonington recommended an MRI since I am not completely pain free. I anticipate return to Southern Physical Therapy to complete my program. In addition, I learned about their therapy for swollen feet and legs. Dr. John Thames recommended me for the swelling therapy. Ms Danielle solved the swelling problem with her therapy training dealing with lymph nodes...this is a MUST for anyone having to deal with feet/leg swelling."

"When my doctor suggested that I go to PT, I researched PT clinics in the area and SPTC had the best reviews out of all of them so I set my first appointment and boy am I glad I did!! All of the staff at SPTC were so caring and accommodating. The PT’s, PTA’s and techs are very knowledgeable about their field and are very professional. Adam, Joe and Jessie are rockstars!!! I can now say that I am pain free and am able do things that I wasn’t able to before because of my injury. I will definitely be going back if I’m ever in the need for PT!!"

"I went in thinking I could possibly lose my finger or have severe damage until Danielle cleaned my pinky up and made me feel a sense of relief and reassurance. Both Danielle and Heidi are amazing and made my experience 10 times better. Not only did they help me regain strength in my hand but they connected with me and made me feel so welcomed and made sure I was doing OK. They are so friendly and communicated with me in a way I could understand for my healing to get better. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be able to give fully extended high fives. "Shout out to Joe and Katherine for my early morning appointments. The atmosphere in the clinic is a very positive and family friendly one. The clinics I've been to before had more of a robotic monotone atmosphere to them and did not make the experience enjoyable. This one is the complete opposite. You actually enjoy coming to your appointments and can see/feel the progress as the weeks go along. "I had twisted my knee several weeks ago. I could barely walk. I was in a lot of pain. After a few physical therapy sessions I could walk with less pain. "My teenage daughter received physical therapy after a dance injury requiring surgery. The therapy was tailored to get her back to baseline so that she could try out for college dance. With the help of the Therapists she regained the strength, balance and most of all the confidence she had lost with the injury. Needless to say she made the dance team and one of the Therapists gave her a USM t-shirt to wear at her signing. I strongly recommend them especially if therapy is needed following a dance/sport injury."

"For 2 weeks I was in so much pain that I could not walk. I went to the doctor twice in one week. I was given shots and meds, and told to go home and rest. I went for a massage, she worked on my back for 90 mins. Through it all, I was still in pain. Then my doctor suggested to me to try physical therapy. I must say, I didn't think it would make that much of a different. I am here to say, I was wrong. After two weeks of therapy 3 times each week, I am walking. I still haver pain but nothing like three weeks ago. The staff is very caring and knowledgable. I hope you don't ever need their help, but if you do i'm sure you will be as happy as I am."

"These people are friendly and they care. I have been to multiple doctor's offices for various reasons these past few years. This is one of the few where I see them actually looking at what's going on with me, rather than just spending the required time to then move on to the next patient. Their staff is great and sometimes comes up with unorthodox methods, but the end goal is to make you right. I've watched them work not only with me, but also with older and younger people, and they're always trying to figure out what that person needs so as to help that person. Even their clerical staff has their head in the game, as I've been to several that don't even consult your insurance and are automatically asking for X copay when your insurance is a percentage. If you need help recovering from surgery, you will like this team."

I’ve had physical therapy several times in my life but never had I had someone tailor my treatment to my specific needs to the extent that their entire staff did. In the instance that I needed to see someone besides Adam, the other therapists had already been brought up to speed on my case. Their staff is so pleasant from their reception to the owner. If I ever need PT again, I will not even have to think about where I go. 5 STARS for this crew!"

"I just wanted to speak on behalf of The staff here. The physical therapist are all wonderful. John and Adam were both so helpful and knowledgeable and really helped with my pain. If my insurance would have paid for me to go longer, I would have went longer. The entire staff there is extremely polite and accommodating. I was a difficult case dealing with different insurance companies and an attorney with multiple minor injuries and the ladies were so patient and understanding. The facility was very clean and there wasn’t 10 to 20 people there at a time, so I didn’t feel uncomfortable doing my exercises or my electro treatments and heat therapy. I highly recommend their establishment and hope u will consider giving them a chance."
