Lauren Thompson, M.S., CCC-SLP

Lauren Thompson, M.S., CCC-SLP is a dedicated speech-language pathologist with a passion for providing patient-centered care to pediatric populations. Originally from Mandeville, Louisiana, Lauren moved to Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2020.
In response to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, she chose to further her education and earned a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology online from Emerson College in 2022. Shortly after, Lauren married her husband, Wesley. They now reside in Lumberton, Mississippi, with their two beloved dogs, Zoe and Mattie.
Lauren has over two years of experience treating children with a wide range of communication disorders, including articulation and phonological disorders, language delays, autism spectrum disorder, apraxia of speech, and supporting alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) needs.
She is committed to lifelong learning and professional growth, with a special interest in feeding and swallowing disorders. Lauren is also excited to expand her clinical experience by working with adults with a variety of speech and language needs. She is passionate about providing compassionate, individualized care tailored to the unique needs of every patient and their family.
