Kelli Cruthirds is a Speech and Language Therapist who has experience working with both children and adults with a variety of speech and language disorders. Her role at Southern Pediatric Therapy Clinic is to provide a supportive environment and foster meaningful interactions in order to encourage the learning of new skills and to enhance overall communication for clients and families.

Kelli completed her education at the University of Southern Mississippi, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Language Pathology in 2021 and a Master of Science degree in Speech and Language Pathology in 2023.

Kelli’s clinical experiences include providing services to individuals from childhood to age 80+ in an adult inpatient/outpatient setting, elementary school setting, and adolescent outpatient setting. She also spent over a year gaining clinical experience at The DuBard School for Language Disorders. She has experience in evaluating and treating the areas of receptive/expressive and pragmatic language of individuals with a variety of disorders including swallowing disorders, cognitive-communicative deficits, articulation disorders, language disorders, fluency disorders, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), traumatic brain injuries, apraxia of speech, and aphasia.

In her spare time, Kelli enjoys hanging out with friends and family, going boating, and spending time with her two dogs, Astro and Nova. Kelli is an advocate for early intervention and is passionate about working with patients and their families to promote social, emotional, and behavioral health and academic success
