Katherine Tyree, PT, DPT | Clinical Director
Katherine Tyree is the Clinical Director of Picayune & Physical Therapist at Southern Physical Therapy Clinic. She was born and raised in Louisiana but has been a Pearl River County local since 2006 and currently lives with her husband Bradley in Picayune, MS.
She attended Pearl River Central High School where she graduated in 2012 in the top 10 of her graduating class. She then attended The University of Southern Mississippi where she graduated with honors and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiotherapy in 2016.
During her time at Southern Miss, Katherine was inducted into the Student Hall of Fame and recognized as a Who’s Who Among Students at American Universities and Colleges. Finally, Katherine attended William Carey University where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2020.
Katherine’s main clinical interests involve orthopedics and she treats various conditions from head to toe. She is currently certified in dry needling and vestibular rehabilitation and concussion management to help patients who suffer from vertigo and dizziness.
She got into physical therapy because of her desire to help people reach their goals inside and outside of the clinic and she strives to impact as many people as possible by serving her hometown community.
Katherine loves Southern Physical Therapy Clinic because everyone goes above and beyond to make sure that patients and staff are taken care of. In her free time, she enjoys reading, crafting, cooking/baking, and enjoying a glass of Cab with friends.
