Lauren Baker is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and licensed in both Mississippi and Louisiana. She is a PRN employee with Southern Physical Therapy Clinic. She is primarily working in pediatrics. Lauren is from Slidell, LA where she still resides with her fiancé, James, and dog, Hope.

Lauren graduated from Pope John Paul II Catholic High School in 2012. She then attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology – Human Movement. Geaux Tigers! Following LSU, she attended Delgado Community College and earned her degree in Occupational Therapy.

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family, friends, and her dog. Some of her hobbies are outdoor activities, including boating and fishing, reading, listening to country music, working out, baking, and dining out.

Lauren is inspired by learning new things that will improve her talents as a therapist and help her overcome challenges. Her favorite inspirational quote is a bible verse; ‘I can do all things through Him who strengthens me’ (Philippians 4:13).

Lauren is motivated by the chance and ability to make a difference in someone’s life. She is a motivated therapist who thrives on working hard to see improvements by means of patience and a positive attitude.
